[Feature Request] 🌙 Dark Mode
The Most Requested Feature: Dark Mode
This is now the #1 most upvoted request in the community. I am consolidating feedback from multiple threads here.
Why Dark Mode Matters
- Eye strain: Many of us work 8+ hours daily in the platform. The bright white background causes headaches and eye fatigue, especially in evening hours
- Accessibility: Users with light sensitivity, migraines, or visual impairments have specifically requested this.
- Battery life: For users on OLED laptops/monitors, dark mode significantly reduces power consumption.
- Industry standard: Every major SaaS tool (Slack, Notion, Jira, GitHub) offers dark mode. We are behind the curve.
Community Workarounds (Not Ideal)
Some users are using browser extensions like Dark Reader, but these break certain UI elements:
- Charts become unreadable (inverted colors)
- Status badges lose their meaning (red/green/yellow all look similar)
- PDF previews render incorrectly
What We Are Asking For
- System preference detection: Auto-switch based on OS dark/light mode setting
- Manual toggle: Easy access in user settings or quick-access menu
- Scheduling option: Dark mode from 6PM-8AM would be perfect
Official Response Requested
@ProductTeam — Can we please get an update on the roadmap for this? The last official comment was 18 months ago saying it was "being considered." We need transparency on whether this is actually planned.

Our entire design team has been asking for this for over a year. We work late nights on deadline and the bright white screen is genuinely painful.
Even a simple "dim mode" that reduces brightness by 30% would help while you work on full dark mode.

+1 on this! I have been using Dark Reader extension as a workaround but it completely breaks the analytics charts. The colors get inverted and I cannot tell which metric is which anymore.
Please make this a priority for Q2!
