Two-factor authentication adds a critical security layer. Even if your password is compromised, attackers cannot access your account without the second factor..

Supported Methods

Setup with Authenticator App

1. Download an authenticator app:
   • Google Authenticator (iOS/Android)
   • Authy (iOS/Android/Desktop)
   • Microsoft Authenticator
   • 1Password
2. Go to Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication
3. Click Enable 2FA
4. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
5. Enter the 6-digit code to verify
6. Save your backup codes! Store them securely.

Setup with SMS

1. Go to Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication
2. Select SMS as your method
3. Enter your mobile phone number
4. Enter the verification code sent via text

Backup Codes

Critical: Save your 10 backup codes somewhere secure. Each code can only be used once. Use these if you lose access to your authenticator.

Logging In with 2FA

1. Enter your username and password as usual
2. Open your authenticator app
3. Enter the current 6-digit code
4. Code changes every 30 seconds
